What it measures

Water temperature, pH, EC, TDS, ORP, salinity in ppt, salinity in percent, and specific gravity. It does not measure free chlorine.

Connection and power

Wired RS485 A/B output with DC 5-24 V input. A compatible USB-to-RS485 adapter may be selected separately where offered.

Integration checklist

  1. Confirm the host controller, power supply, RS485 interface, wiring, and register documentation before installation.
  2. Do not assume the probe is a complete display or app system.
  3. Connect power and RS485 A/B only according to the supplied register and wiring documentation.
  4. Place the probe in a representative flow location and protect the cable and connector.
  5. Confirm raw communication before interpreting measurement values.
  6. Complete the required parameter calibration and record the date and reference standards.

Troubleshooting

  • No communication: verify DC input, A/B polarity, host serial settings, address, and register documentation.
  • Implausible values: verify register type, byte order, scaling, unit conversion, and calibration state.
  • Unstable values: inspect placement, bubbles, fouling, electrical noise, grounding, and stabilization time.
