What it measures

pH, free available chlorine, ORP, salinity, TDS, EC, specific gravity, and water temperature.

Connection path

The floating probe sends readings to the display over LoRa. The display separately connects to the Tuya app over 2.4 GHz WiFi.

Quick start

  1. Confirm the display, floating probe, and supplied setup or calibration materials are present.
  2. Prepare and place the floating probe according to the supplied model instructions.
  3. Power the display and confirm the probe-to-display LoRa connection.
  4. Connect the display to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network and then to the Tuya app.
  5. Complete the model-specific calibration procedure before relying on alerts.
  6. Compare initial readings with a suitable reference method and observe trends before changing pool treatment.

Important limits

This monitor supports trend awareness and pool-care decisions. It does not replace all required manual testing or determine whether water is safe to drink.

Troubleshooting

  • No probe data: check probe power or preparation, pairing status, and placement distance.
  • App is offline: confirm 2.4 GHz WiFi coverage near the display; WiFi is not the probe-to-display link.
  • Unstable readings: inspect placement, rinse the sensing surfaces, allow readings to stabilize, and repeat model-specific calibration.
