10.0 Series pH, Salinity and Specific Gravity Calibration Guide

Rovynel 10.0 Series 7-in-1 WiFi Water Quality Monitor calibration guide

10.0 Series Setup & Calibration

This guide applies to the 10.0 Series 7-in-1 WiFi Water Quality Monitor with App Alerts.

Follow the three videos in order: prepare the pH buffer solutions, complete pH calibration, then adjust salinity and specific gravity readings.

Before you start

  • Prepare three clean cups and keep one cup for each buffer solution.
  • Add 250 mL of purified water to each cup as shown in the preparation video, then dissolve the matching supplied pH buffer powder.
  • Label each cup and keep the solutions, tools and probe free from cross-contamination.
  • Rinse the probe with clean water between solutions and gently remove excess water with a soft lint-free tissue.
  • Follow the buffer values, display prompts and button sequence shown in the videos and supplied product instructions.

Step 01

Prepare the pH buffer solutions

Prepare all required buffer solutions before entering the pH calibration menu.

  • Use three separate clean cups.
  • Add 250 mL of purified water to each cup.
  • Dissolve the matching buffer powder completely and keep every solution clearly identified.

Step 02

Complete pH calibration

Follow the 10.0 Series display sequence and complete every calibration point in the order shown.

  • Rinse the probe before placing it into the next buffer solution.
  • Allow the displayed value to stabilize before confirming a calibration point.
  • Complete the full on-screen sequence and confirm that the device returns to normal measurement mode.

Step 03

Adjust salinity and specific gravity

Compare the displayed value with the known reference, then use the adjustment process shown in the video.

  • Use the reference solution or value specified by the product instructions.
  • Wait for the temperature and reading to stabilize before saving an adjustment.
  • Verify both salinity and specific gravity after the adjustment is complete.

Verify your readings

  • Rinse the probe thoroughly and return it to the monitoring location.
  • Allow pH, salinity and specific gravity readings to stabilize.
  • Confirm that the calibration settings have been saved.
  • Record the calibration date for future maintenance.

Troubleshooting

Why does the reading not stabilize?

Rinse the probe, check for residue or trapped air, use fresh solution and allow the probe and solution temperature to settle.

Why did the device reject the calibration?

Check that the correct fresh buffer is being used, repeat the sequence in the order shown and rinse the probe before changing solutions.

Why do salinity and specific gravity need another check?

Confirm the reference value, temperature stability and saved adjustment, then repeat the comparison shown in Step 3.

When should I repeat calibration?

Repeat calibration when the supplied instructions recommend it, after probe cleaning or storage, or when a known reference shows an unexplained drift.
